Do I need to have played Netball to join the club?

Not at all! All you need is netball shoes and sky-high enthusiasm. We’re open to all senior players (sorry, no juniors).

BWNC has teams across a range of competitions - including social competitions - so there’s bound to be a team that fits you perfectly.

We also offer social memberships for non-players who still want to get into the Wolvies spirit and attend club events.

How does grading work?

To ensure we get the right players into the right teams, we run skills and gameplay grading before Season 2025.

This year’s grading session will be on Sunday, February 16 at Concord Indoor Recreational Centre. Grading will start at 10am and run until 12pm. There’s lots of parking nearby.

We recommend all new players and those vying for a spot in Women’s A-grade to attend. Please attempt to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time so we can check you in and get rolling on-time (or as close to it!)

Can I play with my friends?*

We know it can be daunting join a big club solo, so you’re more than welcome to register with friends — the more the merrier, we say! You all should email our secretaries to request to play together and attend grading.

However, it’s important to understand that while we will consider and attempt to fulfil your request, because of your skillsets and team needs and grading standards you may be split up.

*This is a trick question, because you will be playing with friends by the time the season starts, anyway!

Where and when do you train?

BWNC trains as a club under lights on outdoor courts in the Inner West throughout the season — unless it’s rained out.

Our sessions are run by our Training Coordinators, who will share details to our members’ Facebook group.

If you have any questions, please reach out.

Where and when do you play?

Our club plays in a range of competitions, but our primary league is the Inner West Netball Association Winter season at Cintra Park, Concord.

Senior games run at 12.30pm, 1.50pm, 3.10pm, and 4.30pm on Saturdays from April until September. Games are not played on school holidays or public holiday/long weekends.

Do you have junior teams?

We are a Seniors-only club for Women and Men’s teams. That said, we always have kids in the cheer squad on the sidelines on game day.
