Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all! All you need is netball shoes and sky-high enthusiasm. We’re open to all senior players (sorry, no juniors).
BWNC has teams across a range of competitions - including social leagues - so there’s bound to be a spot for you.
We also offer social memberships for non-players who still want to get into the Wolvies spirit and attend club events.
-
To ensure we get the right players into the right teams, we run a grading session for all players to attend. This session is mandatory for any players wanting to trial for A-grade. It’s also the perfect chance to meet your fellow Wolvies and dust off the cobwebs from off-season.
We will run skills and game play for women’s and men’s players. The session will run for two hours. Members will receive details upon registration.
-
We know it can be daunting join a big club solo, so you’re more than welcome to register with friends — the more the merrier, we say! You all should email our secretaries to request to play together and attend grading.
That said, it’s important to understand that while the grading committee will consider and attempt to fulfil your request, we can’t promise you’ll be kept together (we have to consider skills, team and club needs, and grading standards).
P.S. This is a trick question… you’ll have an army of friends by the time the season starts, anyway!

BWNC trains as a club under lights on outdoor courts in the Inner West throughout the season - unless it’s raining.
Our sessions are run by our Training Coordinators and coaches who will share details to our members’ Facebook group.
